Aeroplane City began as a short story. This story would have been ahead of its time if I had finished when I started. Instead, I lived my life. Enjoyed my life. I wasn’t writing this story to get rich or leave my mark. I believed leaving my mark would be having children to carry on the family name and leave a legacy of character.
My own hardship had broken me for a time. It took place in 2018. For years I was building a life, Well. I thought I was. It was truly a gut punch when it happened. I lost myself. I wanted to die.
